A very special “thank you” to SATH (Society for Accessible Travel & Hospitality) for making it possible for me to travel back to five continents which enabled me to give back.
“Travel for people with disabilities may not be possibly perfect, but it is perfectly possible.” Sharon Moore Myers
Making sites and transportation user friendly is key to allowing individuals to grow and become contributing members to the community. Equal accessibility promotes understanding, sharing, and responsibility. Accessibility encourages self-confidence, and independence for everyone. Sooner or later in life, the need for better access will touch each of us or our loved ones. What we change now will benefit everyone in the future. When the idea benefits not just oneself, but everyone around us, the momentum just seems to generate itself. As Sharon likes to say, “It’s all part of the MASTER Plan.”
